It has been an eventful week for officials in American Athletic Conference games, to say the least.
One night after Cincinnati Bearcats head coach Mick Cronin was critical of the officials who ejected him from UC's 82-74 win against South Florida at Fifth Third Arena, Tulsa head coach Frank Haith and Connecticut head coach Dan Hurley were ejected after an apparent handshake during the Golden Hurricane's win.
Both coaches were assessed technical fouls for arguing with each other. When they met for a handshake, an official gave Hurley and Haith their second technical fouls of the game and ejected them.
