Cincinnati basketball coach John Brannen was asked Wednesday to imagine playing AAC or NCAA Tournament games this month in near-empty arenas.
That could become reality due to the new coronavirus, which led to the Ivy League canceling its tournament Tuesday while other leagues have placed restrictions on fan and media availability.
"I think there’s an excitement level around March Madness and (the players) understand that and they’ve experienced that," Brannen said. "To go into an empty gym, I don’t know what that’s going to be like. I think we’re all in uncharted territory.
