The Cincinnati Bearcats locked up their spot in the NCAA Tournament when they won their second-straight American Athletic Conference Tournament championship, but now we know exactly where they’ll be playing in the bracket. The Bearcats were named a No. 7 seed in the South Region where they will play the No. 10 seed Iowa Hawkeyes.
Even if they hadn’t won the league title on Sunday, the Bearcats were essentially a shoe in for the field. They went 25-6 during the regular season and were ranked No. 24 in the country in last week’s AP Top 25.
