Cincinnati exudes a seemingly inescapable attraction. Natives of the city either rarely leave or leave and then find their way back. The city's transplants usually find Cincinnati irresistible once they get a taste of it.
Mike Rehfeldt is one of those transplants.
A native of Blaine, Minnesota, Rehfeldt came to Cincinnati in 2011 for an opportunity with the Bengals. More than a decade later, he's married a hometown woman (local sports reporter Elise Jesse), they've welcomed two children, and Rehfeldt now says "Cincinnati is 100% home" after building a dynamic workout facility known simply as the "Monster Factory" in a basement on the University of Cincinnati's main campus.
