MIDDLETOWN - The Greater Miami Conference had a lengthy meeting Wednesday where they opted to a conference-only approach given the OHSAA's six-game regular-season plan with each team making the playoffs.
Of course, everything is pending on the Ohio Department of Health removing restrictions in place since July involving rigorous testing and no team vs. team competitions.
Still, the GMC members walked out of Wednesday's gathering with new schedules, with weeks three through eight, being moved to weeks one through six. Everyone appears set to go, with the exception of Middletown.
The Middletown School District will start the school year with remote learning due to new coronavirus concerns and extracurricular activities were suspended July 30.
