University of Cincinnati Bearcats defensive lineman Michael Pitts entered the transfer portal, according to multiple reports Saturday morning.
The senior from Stone Mountain, Georgia, has seen his playing time decrease during this season. He had 10 total tackles in the five games in which he appeared - including seven tackles and a forced fumble in UC's win against Army on Sept. 26.
He played in 13 games - making eight starts - during the 2019 season, and started 13 games at jack end during the 2018 season. He totaled 9.5 sacks over those two seasons.
Pitts did not play in UC's Birmingham Bowl win earlier this year against Boston College because of a shoulder injury.
