Cincinnati football's Tavion Thomas will likely redshirt this season, Bearcats' coach Luke Fickell said Tuesday.
The sophomore running back did not travel with the team for Saturday's win at Houston and was held out of the season-opening victory against UCLA for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
"We're getting him healthy both physically and academically," Fickell said. "He's doing a great job academically. We're just kind of holding on.
