The Cincinnati Bearcats' 2018 turnaround was completed Friday with a historic punctuation mark.
The Bearcats left no doubt in a 56-6 throttling of visiting East Carolina at Nippert Stadium and clinched the seventh 10-win season in program history.
Cincinnati redshirt freshman quarterback Desmond Ridder put on a passing clinic in about one half of work, completing 20 of 29 passes for 335 yards and four smooth touchdown passes.
Ridder surpassed his previous career high for touchdown passes (three) in the first half.
Receiver Khalil Lewis had a senior day to remember with three touchdown passes – two from Ridder and one from Hayden Moore – and nine total catches for 203 yards in the win.
