Senior center Chris Vogt said there’s a clear fix for the University of Cincinnati men’s basketball team to plug the latest hole in its defense.
In a 74-71 loss on Wednesday against South Florida, the Bearcats allowed 15 offensive rebounds and 13 second-chance points. Heading into Saturday’s game against Georgia, Vogt said it’s difficult to win when that happens.
“All five guys need to find a man, box out and rebound,” Vogt said. “That’s an area we’ve got to get better at as a team. Me, myself, and everybody needs to take the next step in that area for this team to get where it wants to go.
