The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team enters Sunday on a four-game winning streak.
The Bearcats captured those four victories by a combined nine points.
Cincinnati coach John Brannen on Friday credited the streak to a toughness he didn't see from his players before the team experienced a 25-day layoff due to COVID-19 protocols.
"I wanted to make sure I touched upon the toughness level because we didn't have that early on," he said. "We didn't show the Cincinnati tough that we talk about in our program. It's our second core value. They've showed that and more during the course of this last month, and I couldn't be more proud of our group.
