Jay Sorolla quits Cincinnati basketball, leaves John Brannen with few bench options

Cincinnati basketball will no longer feature one of its 7-foot centers this season.

Jaume "Jay" Sorolla, a graduate transfer averaging 3.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, has left the team to begin his professional career overseas, UC confirmed Tuesday.

"It’s been a pleasure USA... my beloved Europe here I come," Sorolla posted on Twitter Tuesday night.
