Cincinnati basketball welcomed Jarron Cumberland's return to form Wednesday.
The reigning AAC Player of the Year posted 22 points, eight assists and seven rebounds to push the Bearcats by Tulsa 75-44 at Fifth Third Arena.
The dominating victory was well-timed for UC (9-6, 2-1) following last Saturday's collapse at Tulane and ahead of road games at UCF and Memphis.
Cumberland's awakening bodes well for the future.
The senior guard — who entered averaging 13.2 points per game, down five per from last season, and shooting just 37 percent from the field — made 7 of 13 shots overall, including 4-for-6 beyond the arc and all four of his free throws.
