The Cincinnati Bearcats added wide receiver Jamil Kamara to their roster yesterday, a transfer from the Virginia Cavaliers. A former four star prospect in the 2014 class and US Army All-American, he got his feet wet last year in Charlottesville playing in five games. But, being a true freshman, his impact was minimal.
That won’t be the case when Kamara comes to Cincinnati.
He’ll sit out the 2015 season due to NCAA transfer rules. Only graduates can change programs without being penalized with a year on the bench. But that won’t affect Kamara’s eligibility with the Bearcats.
