With the teams I root for, as with anything in this life, I try to maintain some semblance of patience. It’s usually best to sit back and let the processes take their time, especially when it comes to a collegiate coaching staff and their decisions. After all, I myself have never taken on the monstrous task of coaching at a major level. The work loads and expectations are so exhausting that I wouldn’t dare even attempt the profession.
So when I hear or see people clamoring to fire a coach after a bad game or bench a quarterback after an interception, I tend to simple shake my head and chuckle at their shortsightedness.
