Isaiah Pead, who ranks third in rushing yards in Cincinnati Bearcats' history, visited the Miami Dolphins - the last NFL team for which he played - during practice.
Pead was the subject of a feature by SportingNews.com's Alex Marvez after a November car accident severed his left leg and damaged his right leg.
The 27-year-old Pead played for the Rams from 2012 to 2015 and had brief stints with the Steelers and Dolphins before the accident ended his NFL career.
Pead finished his UC career with 3,288 yards from 2008-11, according to the school's football media guide.
