It was a rainy, windy and totally dreary Saturday night. It was also a party in the park for the University of Cincinnati football team as, for the 13th consecutive year, the Victory Bell was ringing on the Bearcats' sideline.
UC beat rival Miami University 21-0 at the Bengals' soggy Paul Brown Stadium, with 16,062 fans braving the elements. What they saw was the first shutout by UC since 2014, when the Bearcats blanked UConn (41-0) and Temple (14-0) in consecutive weeks.
They also saw UC players make their annual postgame race to the Bell, the series' traveling trophy.
