Shortly after his team's exhilarating comeback victory Saturday, University of Cincinnati sophomore safety James Wiggins was asked if he ever had been on a team that rallied from a 21-0 deficit to win.
Wiggins, who like most Bearcats has played in a few football games in his life, did not hesitate with his reply.
"No," a smiling Wiggins said. "Never. "
UC had just stormed back to beat Ohio University 34-30 before 35,220 on Saturday afternoon at cool (62 degrees), drizzly Nippert Stadium.
"It's kind of crazy," Wiggins said. "This team just keeps fighting. All the stuff that we've been through is like, all right, we're down now but once we start clicking, ain't nothing gonna stop this.
