University of Cincinnati big man Viktor Lakhin is committed to Wes Miller and the Bearcats program.
The 6-foot-11, 245-pound forward announced Friday in a poem via Instagram that he will stay at UC for his sophomore season.
"I am a Bearcat to the death ... I have to stay," Lakhin said in the final stanza of the 15-sanza poem.
Cincinnati teammate Mika Adams-Woods posted in the comment section, "ya time bro."
Two days after Lakhin's roommate, Mason Madsen, entered the transfer portal, and a day after Lakhin's teammate, Rob Banks, joined Madsen in the portal, Lakhin proclaimed he would remain at UC and be a part of Cincinnati head coach Wes Miller's plans for the 2022-23 season.
