Among college football teams to play just three games so far this season (most have played four), Cincinnati ranks last in the country with 31 penalties tallied for a total loss of 256 yards.
Only AAC foe Tulsa is averaging more flags per game than the Bearcats, who have been called for at least 10 in each contest.
That made for an easy topic for coach Luke Fickell to cover during the Bearcats' extra time without a game last week.
