The Crosstown Shootout is a go and everyone around town should be happy we'll get to see it this year. The University of Cincinnati Bearcats have been dealt a crappy hand as they'll definitely lose what would have been a sold-out crowd and all the parking and concessions that go along with that. Remember, non-profit is a tax status, not a business model.
Beyond the finances, the Bearcats also lose valuable home-court advantage in the series that's seen the past five home teams win.
I won't get into the back and forth of who's right or wrong in all the wrangling to ensure the game happens.
