The Cincinnati Bearcats named passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli their new offensive coordinator Thursday, per a team announcement.
UC also announced Colin Hitschler as its new co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach, and Mike Brown as the Bearcats' passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach:
Mike Denbrock, UC's offensive coordinator for Luke Fickell's first five seasons as head coach, left the Bearcats earlier this month to join Brian Kelly's LSU Tigers staff.
The Enquirer's Keith Jenkins wrote Jan. 3 that promoting Guidugli to OC seemed like the most logical move for Fickell.
