Former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Gary Clark got an opportunity Tuesday night to show the Houston Rockets what he displayed during the NBA preseason, and he didn't disappoint.
Clark played more minutes (19) against the Blazers than he played in his first four NBA regular-season games combined (17). The result: 11 points on 4-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-7 from 3-point range, with four rebounds, one assist and one block in Houston's 104-85 loss.
Clark and former Middletown High School star Vincent Edwards of Purdue were part of a Houston roster of 14 entering the NBA regular season.
