It's looking more and more like former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Gary Clark might benefit from his impressive play as of late coinciding with Carmelo Anthony's expected departure from the Houston Rockets.
ESPN.com is reporting that Anthony's spot on the Rockets' roster is likely to be filled by signing Clark for the minimum, according to a report by Tim MacMahon.
In the Rockets' 115-103 win Sunday against the Indiana Pacers, Clark had six points and a team-high eight rebounds with an assist, a steal and a block in 32 minutes.
More from MacMahon's report:
Clark has become a favorite of (Rockets head coach Mike) D'Antoni, earning the bulk of the minutes that were expected to go to Anthony.
