Richard Jay Franklin Jr. has done the University of Cincinnati proud.
After earning a B.S. in mathematics and master’s degree in education at UC, Franklin became one of the UFC’s biggest stars of the 2000s.
He won the middleweight title in 2005 by TKOing Evan Turner at UFC 53. Franklin defended his middleweight title for more than a year before losing the title to Anderson Silva.
Over the course of Franklin’s career, he has defeated the likes of Ken Shamrock, Wanderlei Silva, and Travis Lutter.
Today’s video vault shows off Franklin’s 2010 first round KO of MMA legend Chuck Liddell.
