Former UC standout and longtime NBA swingman Lance Stephenson narrates this fascinating tour of Coney Island, the neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York City in which he was raised by a devoted mother whom he describes as the “best cook in the world.”
After 10 years in the NBA, Stephenson played most recently for the Liaoning Flying Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association.
Stephenson is an alum of Brooklyn’s famed Abraham Lincoln High School, best known for producing the likes of Stephon Marbury and Sabastian Telfair. Few high schools could boast as impressive an all-time 3 on 3 team as Lincoln’s team of Marbury-Stephenson-Telfair.
