Butch Jones, the former Cincinnati Bearcats and Tennessee Volunteers head coach who has served most recently as an offensive analyst for the Alabama Crimson Tide, is emerging as a strong candidate to become Colorado State's head coach, according to a report Monday via Twitter from college football reporter Bruce Feldman.
Jones coached UC to a 23-14 record from 2010 to 2012 before leaving for the Vols. Jones was 34-27 at Tennessee from 2013-17.
