Former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Gary Clark's second NBA start went better than his first - from a scoring standpoint, at least.
Clark scored a career-high 14 points - on 5-of-9 shooting from the field and 3-of-7 from 3-point range - adding five rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in 31 minutes of action in the Houston Rockets' 121-118 come-from-behind win against the Miami Heat on Thursday night.
Last month, Clark made his first-ever NBA start - at center, no less - and took three of the Rockets' 35 3-point field-goal attempts in the first half against the Brooklyn Nets - an NBA record for most 3-point tries in a half.
