WEST CHESTER - Her name is heaven spelled backward.
After spending a few months of 2020 with Virginia Tech's women's basketball program, former McDonald's All-American nominee Nevaeh Dean has decided heaven is a little closer to West Chester than Blacksburg, Virginia.
"I'm happy; it's time," Dean said. "It's been a crazy year. It's good to be home and see all of my supporters."
The 6-foot-2 center left the Hokies program and is headed to the University of Cincinnati women's team headed up by Michelle Clark-Heard. Heard gains another local product as Dean will now join former Loveland forward Jillian Hayes who is currently playing as a freshman.
