Wes Miller said his immediate mission as the men's basketball coach at the University of Cincinnati is to build a team that can get the program "back to playing and operating" like "one of the greatest programs in the history of college basketball."
That mission got a lot tougher on Tuesday.

Freshman forward Tari Eason, who was one of six Cincinnati players who entered the transfer poral at the end of last season, announced he is transferring to Louisiana State University.
The 6-foot-8 Eason, a former four-star recruit out of Seattle, earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference All-Freshman team last season after averaging 7.
