It's been awhile since former University of Cincinnati Bearcats teammates faced off in an NBA game. But it happened on Thursday night as Gary Clark and the Houston Rockets met Jacob Evans III and the Golden State Warriors in a rematch of last season's Western Conference finals won 107-86 by the Rockets.
Both players are rookies. The undrafted Clark has been a surprising star of the Rockets so far this season and is expected to take the roster spot of Carmelo Anthony, who parted ways with the team after just 10 games.
Drafted 28th overall by Golden State, Evans was the Bearcats' first first-round pick since Jason Maxiell in 2005.
