Former University of Cincinnati associate head men's basketball coach Larry Davis was sentenced Monday to two years probation for assaulting a woman while she was asleep on an airplane in 2017.
The sentence came in a federal court in North Carolina after Davis, who was ousted by UC in September over the incident, pleaded guilty to a federal misdemeanor assault charge last October.
UC had previously said Davis, 62, of Fort Wright, retired a few months before the start of the 2018-19 season.
