The Chicago Bulls announced Thursday that they've waived guard and former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Sean Kilpatrick.
Kilpatrick averaged 15.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in nine games with the Bulls last season.
Before last month's NBA Draft got under way, former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Sean Kilpatrick shared a message of hope and inspiration with players whose names wouldn't be called: "Reach out to me and we can start working ... and form a chip as big as Mount Rushmore on your shoulder."
Bearcats forward Gary Clark Retweeted Kilpatrick's Tweet. Clark wasn't drafted, but he signed a two-way deal with the Houston Rockets after the draft.
