Despite 12-game Victory Bell streak and Saturday's upset, UC is underdog against Miami

On Saturday, it will be 4,729 days since Miami University last defeated the University of Cincinnati in football.

Last September, the Miami RedHawks football team was looking to end an 11-year losing skid to the Cincinnati Bearcats when Malik Clements intercepted a pass by Gus Ragland and returned it 14 yards for a touchdown with a little more than one minute remaining to lift UC to an improbable 21-17 win.

And although the Bearcats have won 12 consecutive games in the rivalry played for the Victory Bell (Miami last won the game on Sept. 28, 2005) - AND UC just pulled off a 26-17 season-opening upset of UCLA at the Rose Bowl - the Bearcats are a 2.
