Last weekend, a few of the name brand Heisman candidates came up a bit short of their billing.
One such candidate who didn’t was Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Desmond Ridder.
Ridder opened the 2021 campaign with a 295 yard outing in limited action. He completed 80 percent of his passes, threw four touchdown passes, and added another with his feet.
Ridder is a quintessential dual-threat quarterback whose throwing prowess now matches his footwork.
Check out his highlights below from week 1 against Miami Ohio.
