Desiree Reed-Francois, a former senior associate athletic director for the Cincinnati Bearcats who has been UNLV's athletic director since 2017, withdrew her name from consideration to become the UCLA Bruins' new athletic director, according to a report Friday via Twitter from the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Mark Anderson.
Reed-Francois reportedly was one of two finalists - along with Boston College's Martin Jarmond, the former deputy director of athletics at Ohio State University - to become UCLA's AD.
