CINCINNATI - For someone named Bolden, it was cruel and unusual punishment, but not surprising. Kyle Bolden, as a true freshman out of perennial prep powerhouse Colerain High School, served a redshirt year during his first college football season at the University of Cincinnati.
Sure, a red shirt is nothing new to a Colerain Cardinal, but having to watch a game and not participate can be aggravating. Coached by his father, Tom Bolden, Kyle, his brothers and his cousins are born to prowl the gridiron.
