Cincinnati falls in the Crosstown Shootout after a falling into an early hole on the road.
This game had more magnitude than it has in a long time with the Bearcats and Musketeers playing their first game in years where both teams were ranked. Additionally, the game was played at Cintas Center for the first time since the Brawl that moved it to a neutral location, giving the game an electric atmosphere.
The Bearcats struggled to shoot early and defensive stops were few and far between. Xavier came out to one of the craziest crowds ever at the Cintas Center and fed on the early energy to a 18-6 lead.
