Recognition continues to pour in for the Cincinnati Bearcats' senior tandem of safeties.
Darrick Forrest and James Wiggins were named Tuesday to the watch list for the Bronco Nagurski Trophy, awarded annually to the national defensive player of the year by the Football Writers Association of America.
The announcement came a day after Forrest and Wiggins were selected to the watch list for the Jim Thorpe Award, which is presented to the best defensive back in college football.
Cincinnati sophomore cornerback Ahmad Gardner also was named to the Thorpe list, making the Bearcats the only program in the country with three players on the list.
