The Cincinnati Bearcats have picked up a verbal commitment from Florida athlete Tyrin Summers for their 2016 class, providing some good news during a weekend in which UC they lost one of their top recruits. It’s not surprising to see that offensive coordinator Eddie Gran and wide receivers coach Blake Rolan were his primary recruiters, especially considering the kind of performance Shaq Washington gave them. Summers is a highly sought after athlete coming out of high school, lining up both wide receiver and cornerback.
It’s unclear which position most schools are interested in him playing but just the fact that the likes of Miami (FL), Oregon State, South Carolina, West Virginia, and over a half dozen Group of Five programs offered him indicates he’s a talented player.
