It’s been no secret that Cincinnati football has been seriously lacking size and strength on the defensive line for the past several years. In 2014, the Bearcats were manhandled in the trenches, allowing staggering amounts of rushing yardage to the likes of Ohio State, Miami (FL), Memphis, and others. There was some improvement in 2015, but UC still has a ways to go to be where it needs to be and consistently compete with good football teams, especially Power Five teams.
On Monday afternoon, Cincinnati got great news as it pertains to the future of the defensive line in Clifton.
