The Cincinnati Bearcats’ disappointing, to say the least, 2015 regular season comes to an end on Saturday when they visit the East Carolina Pirates on Saturday at noon. Here’s a preview of ECU and what UC needs to accomplish to emerge victorious.
OFFENSE
The Pirates have a slightly more balanced attack this year, throwing 52% of the time in 2015, compared to 59% in 2014. That’s really no surprise considering they turned the offense over from Shane Carden (4,736 yards and 30 touchdowns) to Blake Kemp. As a result, East Carolina has shifted on offense to emphasize the running game behind 205 lbs senior Chris Hairston, who’s ground out 738 yards and eight touchdowns with his feet this year.
