Congratulations, everybody. We can all breathe again. After a heart-stopping 40 minutes of basketball, the Cincinnati Bearcats won the American Athletic Conference Tournament Championship with a 56-55 win over the Houston Cougars at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
Gary Clark was named Most Outstanding Player of the tourney and he more than earned it with 20 points and 12 rebounds and the game-icing free throw. However, Kyle Washington hit the most critical shot of the game, drilling a three-pointer from the top of the key to knot the game at 55-55 with 58 seconds to play.
