Kyle Washington is into it. The excitable University of Cincinnati senior basketball forward also was into it when he didn't start the No. 12 Bearcats' last game, a 102-51 rout of Western Carolina on Monday.
Washington and junior point guard Cane Broome did not start Monday, after starting the season-opening 107-77 win over Savannah State last Friday. UC coach Mick Cronin opted to start sophomore center Nysier Brooks and junior point guard Justin Jenifer instead, with Cronin following up on his preseason declaration that he might occasionally change lineups.
