NEWPORT, R.I. - The University of Cincinnati was picked to finish fourth in American Athletic Conference East Division preseason media poll here Tuesday morning, part of the league's annual media days.
Media days began Monday night with the league's annual clambake at Gurney's Newport Resort and Marina.
"I'm not real high on polls," second-year UC coach Luke Fickell said. "I look at polls as, where is the talent level? If we're picked low they might believe we don't have the talent.
