The Cincinnati Bearcats are No. 8 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Sunday.
Cincinnati (3-0, 1-0 AAC) jumped three spots from No. 11 despite having a bye last week. The Bearcats benefited from losses by then-No. 4 Florida (dropped to 10th) and then-No. 7 Miami (Fla.) (dropped to 13th).
Cincinnati remains the highest-ranked non-Power 5 team in the AP poll.
The Bearcats jumped one spot to No. 10 in the latest Amway Coaches poll.
It is their highest ranking in both the AP and Coaches polls since 2009.
