Cincinnati Bearcats move up to No. 6 in latest AP poll following 49-10 win over Memphis

The University of Cincinnati football team is No. 6 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Sunday.

Cincinnati (5-0, 3-0 American Athletic Conference) moved up a spot in the poll after defeating Memphis 49-10 Saturday at Nippert Stadium in a rematch of last season's AAC championship game.

The victory snapped the Bearcats' five-game losing streak to the Tigers (3-2, 2-2 AAC). Cincinnati hadn't won against them since 2013 in Memphis.

UC junior quarterback Desmond Ridder accounted for five touchdowns (three passing and two rushing) and Alabama transfer Jerome Ford rushed for two scores, including one for 48 yards.
