For the first time in five years, the University of Cincinnati has cracked the Top 25 in one of the nation's two major football polls.
UC (6-0) on Sunday appeared at No. 25 in the latest USA Today Amway Coaches poll. It is the first time UC has been ranked in the coaches' poll since Dec. 1, 2013 (No. 23).
At this writing, the latest Associated Press media poll was yet to be released. UC last appeared in the AP poll on Oct. 14, 2012 (No. 21), according to the school's sports communications office.
The Bearcats became bowl-eligible Saturday with a 37-21 win over Tulane.
