Wes Miller needed more size, length and rim protection on his roster, and he got it Thursday night.
The newly hired University of Cincinnati men's basketball coach landed a commitment from 7-foot-1, 220-pound senior center Hayden Koval.
Koval announced he will follow Miller from UNC Greensboro, where he played for Miller last season and helped the Spartans to a 21-9 record, the Southern Conference regular season and tournament championships and a NCAA tournament berth.
Koval, who played his first two collegiate seasons at Central Arkansas, has averaged 10.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 128 career games.
