Bearcats guard Jenifer blossoms in 3rd season/ Tom Groeschen
TAMPA - By now, it is clear that Justin Jenifer will not be a big scorer for the University of Cincinnati basketball team. That is not Jenifer's role, but the junior guard is among the best in America in another key category.
With the No. 14-ranked Bearcats (14-2, 3-0 American Athletic Conference) preparing to face South Florida (7-10, 0-4 AAC) here Saturday night at the USF Sun Dome, junior guard Jenifer has an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.36-to-1. That would rank 11th nationally if Jenifer qualified, but a player must average at least 3.
