Though the coronavirus pandemic has caused uncertainty around the upcoming college football season, football season-ticket sales at the University of Cincinnati remain steady.
Jeff Vedder, UC's assistant athletic director of ticket operations and business intelligence, told The Enquirer on Thursday that the ticket office has had more than 400 accounts place deposits as new season-ticket holders since June 8. That is the most the ticket office has had leading into a season since 2009, the year after the Bearcats went 11-2 before losing to Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl.
"We are fortunate to have such great fans," Vedder said.
